Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure to present to you PIDSP’s 24th Annual Convention.

This convention, P.I.D.S.T.A.R., will showcase the newest trends in diagnostics, treatment and management in pediatric infectious cases, the latest achievements on local clinical guidelines and the ongoing and future researches to further contribute to the knowledge and practice of our pediatricians.

The topics for this year have focused on more relevant clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic management of common infectious diseases in the community and hospital settings.

We have invited the authors themselves who have done local studies together with our local experts and specialists. To further encourage participants’ input, we have engaged with IT experts to have the convention accessible through a website wherein they can download informations and upload feedbacks.

We would like to thank you for always making our convention well attended. It is your presence and support that makes our convention a success.
